To take a dog on an outing
Fill out our volunteer application and let us know what kind of outing you’d like to take.
Schedule a time to come into the shelter for a volunteer orientation.
Read through our safety manual and sign our liability waiver.
Schedule a meet and greet with the shelter animal you would like to take on an adventure.
If the shelter animal will be interacting with your personal animals, we advise that you consult with your veterinarian beforehand to ensure that all your personal pets are healthy and up-to-date on all vaccines. Shelter animals can carry diseases, so your pets will be safest if vaccinated!

To take a furry friend home for a sleepover

Schedule a meet and greet with the shelter animal you would like to take home for the night and introduce them to any personal pets you may have.
If the shelter animal will be interacting with your personal animals, we advise that you consult with your veterinarian beforehand to ensure that all your personal pets are healthy and up-to-date on all vaccines. Shelter animals can carry diseases, so your pets will be safest if vaccinated!
Ensure your accommodations are pet-friendly.
Pick up your sleepover buddy at the front desk at 3:30 PM and return them the following day at 9:00 AM!
